When I create an account

What email address do I use to create an account on TIS Self-Service?

Create an account with the email address that your local NHSE office responsible for your training programme contacted you with.

When I try to create an account I get this error message: ‘Pre sign up invalid email’.

Please ensure you are creating a TIS Self-Service account with the email address we have against your TIS record. If the error message persists then contact your local NHSE office responsible for your training programme and ask them to check if the ‘Doctor in Training’ role has been assigned to your record.

I have not received a verification code.

Please check your spam or junk folders in case the code has arrived there. Look out for an email from no-reply@tis-selfservice.nhs.uk . If you still receive no code then please contact tis.support@hee.nhs.uk and provide your GMC no. and a brief description of the issue. Include screenshots if necessary as this will help us resolve the issue quickly and efficiently.

When I create an account I get this error message:  ‘couldn’t load profile details’.

Please contact your local NHSE office responsible for your training programme. The mostly probable cause is duplicate records (Profile data) on TIS.

I don’t have a GMC number yet, should I create a TIS Self-Service account?

You should wait until your GMC number is confirmed before creating an account on TIS Self-Service. Please ask the local NHSE office responsible for your training programme to notify you when your GMC details are available in the system, and then you can create a TIS Self-Service account.
